Time flies by, and I can’t help but marvel at the fact that I’ve already been with the company for 12 years. Over these long and precious 30 years, the company has been like a sailboat setting out on a journey to distant shores—and I’ve been fortunate enough to become one of its sailors, sailing alongside it through countless storms and witnessing its growth and brilliance.
Looking back on these 12 years, every past event comes vividly to mind. There was the confusion I felt when I first joined the company and stepped into an unfamiliar industry; there was the joy I experienced when I achieved small successes through my own hard work; and there was the warm camaraderie and joyful conversation over drinks whenever all my colleagues gathered together. Of course, most of all, I’m endlessly grateful to the company.
I clearly remember that when I had been with the company for just over a year and was on maternity leave, Mr. Yuan called me. He told me that Shell China was planning to set up a DCC department in our company and asked if I had time to join the training. When I received that call, I felt deeply grateful—grateful that Mr. Yuan was willing to give a newcomer such a rare opportunity to grow rapidly. It also allowed me, for a brief moment, to break free from the overwhelming challenges of being a new mom and reignited my passion for my work. I’m also incredibly glad that this department has persevered all the way to the present day and has achieved remarkable results.
Friends often ask me: “You travel nearly 200 kilometers round trip yet still choose to work at the specialty store—what’s the reason?” I think, beyond just making a living, it’s my deep love for the company. The care that the company shows toward its employees, the guidance that leaders provide to their subordinates, and the friendly collaboration among team members—these are all the most precious treasures from my career experience.
I’m grateful for the passage of time, because it’s through a wide variety of experiences that I’ve become much less anxious and confused. I’m also deeply thankful to all the clients and colleagues who have supported me—your encouragement is like a powerful remedy, the driving force behind my fearless embrace of the future. In the days ahead, I’m eager to continue working hand in hand with the company, witnessing even more remarkable achievements together!

Beijing—On November 12, 2025, the national finals of the “2025 Future Energy Leaders Program,” jointly initiated and organized by Shell (China) Co., Ltd., the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and Yyou Youth, were held in Beijing. At the finals venue, the top three solutions were announced for each of the two tracks: “Cross-sector Integration and Market Development—Exploring the Thermal Management Fluid Market and Scenario-Based Operations” and “Enhancing Commercial Returns—Innovating Low-Carbon ‘Third Spaces’ EV Charging Stations.”
Beijing – The Shell China “Empowering Progress: Jointly Discussing High-Quality Development of the Energy Industry” Cooperation Forum, co-organized by Shell China and Tsinghua University, has concluded successfully. The forum brought together government officials, think-tank experts, leading academics, and industry partners from both domestic and international sectors—including energy, transportation, power, industrial, and manufacturing—alongside Shell representatives. Together, they focused on topics related to high-quality development in the energy sector, shared insights and practical experiences, and jointly explored a low-carbon energy transition path with Chinese characteristics.
